UTI won’t go away

I’ve had pain in my lower abdomen, the constant urge to go to the loo and pain when peeing since Friday. I’ve been in agony and tried sachets from the chemist but they didn’t work. I went to the out of hours GP on Sunday and they gave me 3 days of Trimethoprim but that has done nothing. I’m going back to the GP tomorrow but I’m in so much pain and go on holiday next week 😩

Lemon barley water, buckets of it, I used to suffer really badly from UTIs and someone suggested it to me and it really worked. Get the Robinsons concentrate and guzzle it (diluted of course) Apparently barley is very good for your bladder cleansing and health.

sound sas if your ABs didn't work, you might need more or another type. lots of bacteria are now resistant to that one.

I had this a few years back and am still prone to them. GP said pee in the bath if it helps, lean back when you pee as it helps empty your bladder completely, obviously wipe from front to back. No sex until fully recovered.

Antibiotics are probably best. There is also something called waterfall D-mannose, it's an alternative treatment and can provide huge relief, the supplier couriers it to you. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
