Reading about the Talc litigation makes me wonder about all the "smelly" period products

When I read about the talcum powder litigation I can't help but wonder about whether we'll be seeing a repeat of this if it turns out that all those tampons and sanitary towels that are doused with cheap smelling perfume have a detrimental effect on women's health when used on the genitals month after month, year after year.

The point about talc was it was contaminated with asbestos. It's still not 100% sure it was the cause; there was a Cambridge prof on radio today saving the evidence was dubious.

If you are worried about additional perfume in Sanpro, the same would apply to laundry products like detergents and fabric conditioners as there is always a residue on clothes.
