I've looked on Google but can't seem to find an answer.
I had my smear test last week on Thursday, this Friday my period arrived. I realise I'm on day 3 but it's a much heavier than usual period, I'm soaking through pads and needing to change often. Even today it's still heavier than what it would usually be on day 1.
All I've found on Google for this is linked to immediately after a smear, but this is over a week later.
Any reason for this? Is it linked to the smear test? And should I let the nurse know if it is?
