Thick, bloody discharge. What could it be?

I'm worried as I've had some thick bloody discharge. Only a small amount and it stopped after three days, I had stomach aching and some bad pains at one point. Not near my period and I've never had any blood between periods and I've had them for over 10 years!

I saw a GP and they sent off swabs that I have just heard have come back all clear.

I'm worried about cancer if I'm honest, and am just under the age to have a smear. Think I'm going to request one regardless or go private.

Anything else it could be?

Ovulation? Pregnancy?

0 chance of pregnancy, ovulation a possibility I suppose? Just seems odd that I've never had it before, can that happen do you know?

Thank you for your response!
