Hi ... I'd be really grateful for some help and advice from menopause ladies. I'm nearly 52, last had a period start of January.
I'm getting hot flushes but quite ok to cope with ..
Last few weeks I've felt tearful and I'm being so clumsy .. just rushing around getting ready for work and banged my head on a doorframe ... big lump on head !
I've got mammogram in 2 days and stressing about result as had early BC 8 years ago .. DP going through stressful divorce .. just feel I want to get in bed and have a big cry
Is this normal ... just need a bit of support as have no mom and not many friends who have reached this stage !!
Any advice gratefully received xx

Hi - I went through a slightly early menopause (at 46) and yes I would say this is all (unfortunately!) normal. Also perfectly understandable to worry about mammogram under circumstances Flowers , but try not too. Go to bed and have that big cry of you want/can - you will probably feel better for it.

I felt really tired, tearful and generally out of sorts/fuzzy headed over quite a few months when menopause started. Lots of sleep helped, I did a bit more to look after myself (excercise, etc) and tried not to over-commit at work (with varying degrees of success!).

Good luck with it all x
