What new book release are you looking forward’s to?

Mine is The Golden Hours by Louisa Young, it’s a new Cazalet chronicles book. Louisa Young Is Elizabeth Howard’s daughter. I didn’t even know it was coming out until a week or so ago from a thread I was reading on here.

I’m also very excited about The Golden Hours! Recently did a reread of the Light Years etc in preparation.
There’s a new Lucie Whitehouse due out in a few weeks which I’m also looking forward to.
And I really want to read the new Lianne Moriarty - it’s out but I haven’t got it yet.

Jeez, I can't even keep up with all the books from the 19th century - no way will I spend much time thinking about what's brand new.

Infinite Wisdom by Thomas Weaver. Ive got it on NetGalley and have pre-ordered a limited edition copy. The previous book is one of the only ones I purposely have 2 copies of.

Kate Atkinson’s new book, ‘Our Nobel Selves’ has just been delivered to my Kindle. I forgot I ordered it so looking forward to that.

Ah! I forgot about KA’s new book, yay!

To be fair, a lot of the books I'm looking forward to are based on 20th century ones (not 19th, but some were the first half of the 20th century).
The new Miss Marple, for one.

I can understand that. Is the Miss Marple book the one by Lucy Foley? It must be kind of mad as an author to get the phone call about that offer!

I didn't love the first one, so going to wait to get this one. I'll read at the library and then buy if I love it.

Jane Leeves’ book about stories from behind the scenes on Frasier. One of my favourite shows ever.

I've downloaded the new Kate Atkinson, and I'm intending to get the new Rose Tremain and Sebastian Faulks books that come out on Thursday. I also want to read the final Gabriel Dax book from William Boyd (or will it be the final...?). There's also the new Bonnie Garmus book too. Actually, it's a bit of a bumper autumn, not least because I was happily able to stand in Waterstones today reading the new Gruffalo book. Sadly no one to read it aloud to nowadays, but it made me very nostalgic.

Ah, me and Strike... I've got two sitting unread on the Kindle and I'm now a long way behind, @RipplePlease6. They are so very, very long, and I enjoy the TV series condensing them for me.

The tv series are brilliant IMO.
And yes, the books are very long! What I love most about them isn’t the whodunnit element, it’s the Strike/Robin will they, won’t they story.
