Has anyone else read Good Night, Irene by Luis Alberto Urrea? I thought I was too old to spend my evening crying over a book, but it's absolutely brilliant. It's the story of two American women serving in Europe with the Red Cross during WWII. It's beautifully written and genuinely heartbreaking.
