The Help is one of the few books that I stayed up all night to finish. Literally could not put the book down. I cannot believe it was rejected so many times.

I was gripped by The Calamity Club. As I read it I thought it was one of the best books I'd read for a long time - and I've read a lot of good books this year. I loved the characters, the settings, the plot. Beautifully written. Except...

I was disappointed in the ending. I better not say too much else in case it spoils the book for someone else.

I combined reading and listening on Audible. It was very well read.

I agree about the ending. I wanted more.

I liked it but I thought it dragged a lot in the middle section where they were setting up the club. Thought it needed to be much shorter!
