Has anyone read anything written by Sara Cox? If so what's it like? She gets on my last nerve so I wondered what her writing style is like.

I read one about a woman who moves back to Yorkshire. It was not entirely horrible. It read like she actually did write it, but it was amateur stuff, needed at least the first 40% cut and therefore I couldn't stick with it long enough to see the main character actually get home.

It was very 'Sarah Cox wants to write a book and has come up with exactly the light summer read with a bit of family drama' plot you would expect.

I enjoyed the Yorkshire one - a soothing balm of a read.

I read the Yorkshire one too. I did finish it but I’m not sure I’d read another. Agree that she probably just needs a better Editor.

Yes, I read one a year or so back, something about a pottery class. From what I recall it was no better, no worse than similar books by other authors, chic lit type fiction.

It’s just easy to read chick lit, not that well written but not appalling.

I read the pottery one too, and quite enjoyed it, I'd pick another one up in a charity shop/community library but probably not pay full price for it. She knows the formula to use, and uses it pretty well

I read Way Back, it was cosy and enjoyable and had some witty and touching moments
