Anyone else read this? It was a random pick at the library and it’s my best read of the year so far. Brilliant characters that I really cared about, set in Lahore so completely different lifestyle. Brilliant read and highly recommend.

What genre would you say it was?
I love it when you find something great to read by chance. I tend to stick to authors I know but then everything can become a bit " samey"

I’d say it was modern literature. It tells the story of a poor family living in Lahore but the characters are beautifully drawn, I really cared about them
