A while ago I recommended new audiobooks of LPW books read by Robert Bathurst.

RB recorded Whose Body, Clouds of Witness and Unnatural Death which were released in November 2023. I’d given up hope of there being any more.

I’ve just by chance found that RB has recorded Lord Peter Views the Body, The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club and Strong Poison and these are available for pre order and will be released April 30th 2026.

i thought his narration was excellently suited to the books and captures the character of Wimsey very well.

Ooh and interestingly I see that Edward Petherbridge has done an intro for Strong Poison.

Thanks sounds great

Oh yes, he would be excellent.

I have heard some of the radio 4 dramatisations with Ian Carmichael recently and the dated style of language does sound a bit forced

Interestingly I see that one of the introductions from the ones for pre order is by Christopher Fowler who sadly died in 2023. So either they’re releasing them slowly but recorded a while ago, or the introductions are separate or audible are only just releasing them
