I just bought the book - was it a scam or something?

Where did you buy it from? I’ve googled it just now and it doesn’t seem to exist.

This is like an old ghost story where the op comes looking for the amazing man she spent a day with yesterday and someone says, "there's been noone here by that name since 1856", then op turns and sees an old portrait of the man.....👻

It’s on Amazon with a kindle but no reviews etc

I suspect the OP was the author... although they did describe it as "Kafkaesque" which I found slightly puzzling as usually that describes unnecessary paperwork/bureaucracy!
