I like it so far, don't get me wrong! Light and easy, occasionally funny.

But why are the mean women at the school gate referred to as 'Mumsnet types'? (Might be paraphrasing, it was a few chapters ago now).

Don't these authors know we review books on here??

This book keeps coming up on my Audible home page. Would you recommend it? I like easy listens like Sophie Kinsella's lovely books so hoping this will be similar?

Haven't finished it, mind! So can't vouch for the ending.

Author has unfortunately just gone right down in my estimations having described a frog as a reptile.

Sorry, but even if the author doesn't, do none of the proofreaders/editors have the slightest basic knowledge of the natural world?

Pretty sure even the 8yo kid in the book knows it's an amphibian.

Sorry stuff like this just narks me! There's just no need...
