A lovely Christmas book- no death or cancer back story

I’ve just read five gold rings by Kristen Bailey but there’s cancer mention and a hint of end of life illness that’s made me anxious
I’ve had a lot of illness and lost folks and just want an implausible Christmas happy read please !
This one was almost perfect. So if you’re not triggered by mention of illness I’d recommend it. It’s not a central plot line but the mention of it was unsettling to me in current mood. Otherwise lovely. And hints of links to her other books which I’ve loved.
hit me up ! Please. I need to escape the reality of actual Christmas and go to a house with black labs that are adorable, welcoming mothers who cook up feasts etc. if not, a re read of a Jilly might be in order Thank you 🙏
