And you are a teenage girl looking for a Christmas read, what would you read?

Looking to get dd a December book to read. She is 13 and loved The one series. Google suggested So, this is Christmas by Tracy Andreen or Dash & Lily’s book of dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. Any thoughts on these or any better suggestions will be much appreciated ☺️. Thanks.

I loved this book, I run a YA fiction group with my Yr 7-9s at school. Books we read along the same lines are:
Matched by Ally Condie: A dystopian world where your spouse is perfectly chosen for you, it's a trilogy and very good.
Legend by Marie Lu: Two teenagers from opposite sides of society discover dark truths about the government
The Siren: A standalone Keira Cass book about a girl who is rescued by the sea and becomes a siren. It's got a lot about exploring your identity, romance and your connection with the world around you.
Divergent by Veronica Roth: Teenagers must decide which faction they belong in at 16 years old, this follows a girl through her journey in that faction and the conflict that follows in the community.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer: This is a futuristic Cinderella tale, she's part cyborg. A bit out there but really good.

I assume she has read the Hunger Games (& 2 prequels)?

Ooh thanks for those recommendations @NannyOgg1341(awesome user name GNU). I read Divergent and loved it but she hasn’t read that one yet. She is definitely into the must have a pretty ball gown end of YA fiction at the moment. She must get it from dh…

@Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies I think she has tried previously but I think she was a bit too young. I will suggest again.

Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. It’s a 4 book series and is a great read.
