Where do you read / favourite places to read.

I read in most places the bath, in bed (though annoyingly I usually nod off), in the living room and the garden in summer.

I think my favourite place is at the local library I usually manage to go most Tuesday mornings in the winter months and love it. I always take my book to hospital appointments too as usually have lots of waiting around. Though at one appointment this year they called me in around half an hour early I was most disgruntled that I didn’t get to read!

In bed all cosy or on the couch. In an ideal world I'd have a library of my own plus a window seat where I would sit and read!

Bed, sofa, garden, beach.
We have a study/library in our house and it’s lovely. However - it needs a squishy love seat and foot stool.

That’s my dream to have a proper old library with dark oak panels and those ladders you move along the bookcases. It would have a huge fireplace, lots of lamps and a big squishy armchair to curl up in for winter. Then window seats for summer and the views would be across pasture land down to a river with trees and hills beyond. I can clearly visualise it in my head.

My absolute favorite is in a very hot, very full and very bubbly bath.

Definitely by the beach or pool on holiday. And then snuggled up on the sofa with a blanket and coffee in Winter.

Op, we're sharing exactly the sane dream down to the squishy armchair and the views across the pastures!

My favourite place to read is in bed. I read every nighty and every morning when I wake up. I really also want to get into reading during the day but never have the time.

Sadly I cannot get out of a bath anymore, it used to be one of my favorite places to read a book. Now it's in bed

I read almost anywhere but my favourite place to read is on my porch! Nothing beats that!

Anywhere there is a reasonably comfortable seat.

I quite like reading on trains and airplanes - it’s entirely guilt free reading time because there isn’t anything else I should be doing.

In bed or the bath. When I was a kid I used to read sat in the tree near our house.

In the summer at home in the garden sofa under a willow tree.
Inside The house I have a book corner which is a blue small sofa in the corner of the dining room, lots of pillows.

When the final child leaves home I’m turning his bedroom in to a library as it overlooks the garden and having a window seat installed.

I fall asleep in bed too easily when I read which is a pity! I just sit in the kitchen but dream of those bay windows you see on Instagram!!!

I read in the bath, bed, sofa - everywhere really! I dream of having a cosy little library with a big squashy armchair to curl up in and peace & quiet!! One day maybe ☺️

I like to be alone when I read and in perfect silence . I couldn't read if the tv was on or if my dh was talking .

In the bedroom no distractions such as the TV being on.
DW loves watching TV ,I love reading.

I have a little room I use which just has bookshelves, a comfy chair and a wood burning stove. Its only a little space but it's all mine 🤗
