Interesting Non-Fiction

I'm a big fiction reader, wanting to explore more non-fiction. If I enjoyed Careless People, Educated and Tent, Bucket & Me, what else might I like?

I don't want to read biographies/autobiographies about celebrities, anything too depressing or anything that is too educational. I seem to like reading about people's life experiences.

I’m reading Revenge of the Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. It’s thought provoking and his writing style is quite light touch, so although informative/educational it’s digestible.

Your body is your brain - fascinating insight into how our experience shapes our bodies
any of the Brene Brown books - start with Dare

Enshittification - Corey Doctorow. Looks at Facebook, Twitter, Amazon etc and why they got awful.

The Trading Game - Gary Stevenson - about a boy from the east end who became a top FX trader and then had a breakdown

Both have a similar “behind the scenes” feel to Careless People

How about the following (some of my favourite books of all time):

Robert Graves: Goodbye to all That
Bill Bryson: A Short History of Nearly Everything
Patrick Fermor: A Time of Gifts

Bad Blood - John Carreyou

The Only Plane In The Sky by Garrett Graff
A Woman Of No Importance by Sonia Purnell
