Myth retellings

I have just read and loved a couple of books by Jennifer Saint. Can anybody recommend similar books?

Agree with PPs re Natalie Haynes and Pat Barker. Marion Zimmer Bradley did a great retelling of Cassandra’s life before and during the Trojan War called The Firebrand. Also I second staying away from Stephen Fry’s myth books, I really disliked the two I’ve read.
