Has anyone read this? Would highly recommend - it’s chick lit but really good writing and character development . But the ending has me so confused. Does Charlotte get separated? It talks about Nicki staying in her granny annex and steffi is talking and says it will only last as long as it takes one of them to meet someone?? But it doesn’t explain how/why charlotte got separated. Can anyone help me understand it’s really bugging me lol!!! Is it a mistake I’m wondering

I’ve just got my copy out! I think ‘one of them’ refers to Nicki and Matt, not Nicki and Charlotte?

It says “Steffi predicts the birdnesting will only last for as long as it takes for one of them to meet someone else, which if Matt’s drunken call was anything to go by, won’t be very long at all”.

Just read this this week! Loved it but thought the person who set the fire was ridiculous and quite a cop out.
Charlotte doesn’t get separated does she?? Nicki goes and stayed with her because Nicki is separated.

Ahhh ok got it!!! Was so confused I was re-reading the last chapter . It was good but yeh the end seemed a bit rushed. Or maybe I was rushing thru it! Just finished another one of hers which was good too . Happy I found her tho some of the novels seem to be for teens as they are “teacher picks” in Amazon

I think I remember reading this was her first adult novel, as the rest were YA books (I know her first couple or so definitely were). I might be wrong though.
