Loved the Cazalets audiobook, something in a similar vein?

I just finished the Cazalets, I enjoyed it so much, and I'd love something similar and wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

Not an audio book but the Home Front series on BBC Sounds covers the whole of WW1. It focuses on different characters within families, some working class, some upper class. It is a huge series spanning 4 years in real time and it's free. I would recommend listening to the weekly omnibus to avoid the interruptions. I loved the Cazalets btw, one of my favourite comfort reads.

Life After Life

I listened to this recently and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm now listening to Vanity Fair by William Thackeray and it's a surprisingly easy and enjoyable listen.

Have you tried God in Ruins? It's a companion piece to Life After Life - same characters but it moves across several (chronological) timelines. Its really great.

@CraftandGlamour Yes I read that too. Still good but not quite in the same league as Life after Life I thought.
