I need to spend my credits and then cancel my subscription for a bit as have just come off a 3 month pause.

I’ve regretted quite a few of my recent choices.

Books I’ve enjoyed:

Strange sally diamond,
Anything Lisa Jewell
The Dry
Guiltily enjoyed a couple of Reacher books and the Bridgerton audios
The whalebone theatre was OK but not top of my list

Couldn’t get into
The list of suspicious things
Hotel Avocado

I like psychological thrillers, mysteries. Any recommendations

All of the strike books are great, and read by Robert glenister. Plus all of the Thursday murder club.

I have similar taste to you OP and as you've a few credits to use I'd recommend getting into a series. The Vera books by Ann Cleeves are beautifully narrated. The Lewis Trilogy by Peter May is an excellent Scottish crime series, real sense of place and good narration. Easy listening is Elly Griffiths Ruth Galloway series, bit of a soap opera really but enjoyable archaeological crime.

Or any other by Liz Nugent, also Unsettled Ground by Clare Fuller and any by Clare Chambers. Though my favourite ever are the Olive Kitteridge books by Elizabeth Strout. Sublime!

Jo Spain and Kathryn Croft. Also Unravelling Oliver by Liz nugent. Make sure you listen to a sample to see if you like the narration first for all of them though!

I would get Elisabeth Jane Howard’s Cazalet saga. It’s something I have had on Audible for ages, and I dip in and out of regularly.

I can’t listen to fiction on audiobook - for some reason I just can’t concentrate on it. So for something a bit different to the above I would suggest Meditations for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman. I’m listening to a chapter a day (about 8 minutes) on my walk to work. It’s a self-help type book but don’t let that put you off!
