What is this book- featuring Titanic

I think it was a sci-fi, time travel sort of thing. In at least part of the story the main character was on Titanic as it was sinking. I can't remember if the whole story was about the person being on Titanic. I think it wasn't but I'm not sure.

That's a pretty shaky description of the book but it's the best I've got.

I woke up thinking about it yesterday for no good reason and can't remember the name at all.

Thank you!

Is it Beryl Bainbridge’s Every Man for Himself? No sci-fi though…

User57713 · 28/04/2025 08:59

Don't think so.

I feel like the main character found themselves on Titanic in some sort of time slip thing and had to escape to get back to their real-time life. They were the only person on board who knew how the story would end.

It could be Time Riders by Alex Scarrow.

Is it The Memory of Eva Ryker? The cover terrified me as a kid.

Kids book? Ship of doom?

I'm also interested to know

Connie Willis wrote something I think

Good book though.

Agree it could be Passage by Connie Willis. That has the main character travelling to the Titanic, where she knows what’s going to happen.

Yes, Passage by Connie Willis, that's exactly it! Thank you. I'm going to see if I can find it to read again.
