Fiction books for boys about puberty, girls etc

Can anyone recommend any fiction for my 11 year old straight boy please?

He loved the film of ‘Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret’, and he’d really like to read (or even watch) something similar but about the boys’ perspective - growing up, puberty, fancying girls, first kisses etc.

He’s not interested in the Heartstopper series and we started ‘Then Again, Maybe I Won’t by Judy Blume but it’s not really grabbed him.

oooh have you tried the Adrian Mole books? He’s 13 (and 3/4) in the first one so not too much older than your DS. I adored these as a child

I think the Percy Jackson series might work? Definitely some coming of age stuff in there but nothing ‘jucky’
