Hello, just listened to the audio book of "We Solve Murders" and loved it. But I'm wondering if I missed a bit (!!!!spoiler coming if you haven't finished the book!!!):

HOW did Steve work out that Mick was Francois Lubbe? What was his clue? Grateful to find out.

Because he had his grandmothers names tattoo'd on his shoulder and they were in the sauna together so he saw them there. Lou and Bet were the abbreviations of the full names

He spoke about them in the sauna. If you've still got the book, have a re-read of that scene. Clever Steve!

Francois Loubet. Lou-Bet. So he saw that Micky had Lou and Bet tattooed on him and realised he had taken his pseudonym from their names.

Ohhhhhhh Loubet = Lou + Bet !!! I listened to the book on Audible so I never saw Francois's name written, and I heard it as "Lubbe". Brilliant! Clever Steve, clever MN. Thank you !
