Witchcraft for Weyward Girls

I finished this last night. I'm unsure how i feel about it.
I thought it was going to be a horror book in the classic sense but it isn't. It IS horrifying though.
Has anyone else read it? I keep thinking about it which is always a good sign.

Not heard of it. What does Weyward mean?

Well you didn't google very well. The word "weyward" is related to the Old English word wyrd, which means "fate".

It was, however, in this case, a typo 🙄 (and on googling I see it may have been a typo in Macbeth as well).

I haven’t read it, sorry OP. It looks interesting but I’m not very good with horrifying - how horrifying on a scale of 1 to can’t sleep for a week?!

I'm listening to it on Audible and like you I'm.not sure what I think. It's not what I thought it would be if that makes sense? I was assuming it would be more like My Best Friends Exorcism I guess.

I liked it a lot. It's not his usual style at all but I couldn't finish 'How to Sell a Haunted House'.

I was bugged by a group of women yelling at someone in labour to push when she clearly from his description wasn't ready to push. He seemed to think that labour only progresses when the woman pushes.

I really enjoyed Weyward. I didn't think it was horror at all.
