hi all- anyone have a Boox Palma 2? i am
thinking a about investing as its small for everyday travel and I can then read my books and use Audible and Spotify separately from my phone - i find it very hard to not check email and look at shopping sites etc and it's affecting my attention span with reading etc.

many thanks !

I have the original Boox Palma and I love it. They're quite pricey though so I think it is worth considering why you want it over a (cheaper) dedicated eReader, for example, a Kindle or Kobo. For me it was because I wanted to access all reading apps (Kindle, Kobo, Libby/Borrowbox, Google play Books) as well as being able to load my own books and documents onto it, plus reading online study material. It's essentially an Android tablet with an eInk screen, so you could absolutely use both Audible and Spotify on it as well. The downside being, that apart from being black and white, you do still need some willpower not to be distracted by other things on it

I have a boox palma and I purposefully have only installed reading/audio apps on there so not to get distracted with twitter etc, obviously you still have a web browser but it’s not as good as a phone being black and white and e-ink so I don’t find myself tempted.

thanks - yes this is another major reason i am interested - less scrolling, more reading and listening to audiobooks and able to use the kindle app alongside borrowbox and libby etc etc
