Ooh fantastic! Thanks for sharing that.

Does anyone have an opinion about whether the books are brilliant? I know the adaptation has been really well received (tho haven't yet had an opportunity to watch), but sometimes brilliant adaptations are made out of mediocre books <cough>Agatha Christie</cough>

They really are. I was reading them slowly so as not to get ahead of the series but I gave that up and I've read the lot now.

Thanks for the tip!

Has anyone had experience of reading the book after watching the TV show? I'm not sure how much I would enjoy that

Would also be interested to hear views on this

I watched the first two series then read all the books. Both are great. There is enough difference between the TV plots and the books to keep both interesting.

seven201 · 17/01/2025 21:27

Thank you. Just bought them!
