If 14 year old likes Coleen Hoover and Holly Jackson what else will she like?

I think I would describe what she likes as romance with an edge, She is put off by anything too long and not into fantasy. Looking for something I can put in her stocking.

What about Liane Moriatary? All hers are fairly light hearted.
Or Sophie Kinsella is aimed at younger readers

Millie Bobby Brown has a book out called Nineteen steps - I’ve not read it but that might appeal!

My 15 year old likes Ali Hazelwood, Check Mate went down well. She found Sally Rooney a bit boring. She's asked for I Hope This Doesn't Find You by Ann Liang for Christmas.

Has she tried Karen McManus? Both mine (12 Yr old too) like those - One of Us is Lying is the first one. They also both liked We Were Liars.

Karen M Mcmanus and Sarah Crossan. Dd2 who is 11 has read all Holly Jackson and enjoyed all books by both of these authors. She also liked Ravena Guron but might be slightly younger.

Another vote for Karen McManus. Also worth looking at Lynn Painter and E. Lockhart.
