Books for 14 year old boy

Am after suggestions for my 14 year old son who has stopped reading! He has read a lot of YA fiction. Doesn’t really like sci-fi or fantasy. Prefers more realistic fiction. Any recommendations? Thinking maybe moving onto adult novels but not sure! He is pretty mature for his age and could deal with more adult themes. Thanks.

Does he like funny stuff? The Adrian Mole books are great for this age group and there are loads of them. Or what about murder mystery? Agatha Christies are great, not too long, and not too gory or anything. Things like My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell are good, too. All adult books but seem to appeal to this age.

I forgot about Adrian Mole. I could try those. He might like Agatha Christie too. I will look into the others. Thanks.

Fully recommend following some YA book tubers or going into a bookshop and asking. Adrian mole/Agatha Christie are classics but there's so many great modern books these days!

Is he interested in biographies eg favourite comics or sports stars?
Bill Bryson's books are very readable.
One of mine liked Malcolm Gladwell and Ben Macintyre at that sort of age.
PG Wodehouse?
