i do love a good satire, and recently finished Lionel Shriver’s Mania.

any satires that you thoroughly recommend?

Tom Sharpe!

Anything by Terry Pratchett! The Guards novels are the most politically satirical but they're all great.

Haha great shout, I’ve read them all I think but some will be years and years ago now, so worth a revisit!

A Planet For The President.
It came out in the Bush/Blair era but would probably work perfectly again now to imagine it with Trump in charge.

It's so funny, but at the same time depressingly feasible (even more so now).
