I had one when I was a child. I think it might have been an address book or a birthday book. I loved it. I wasn't interested in the text but adored the paintings of various cats on colourful rugs.

I found one in a charity shop for $2!! Hadn't thought of it for years, and it brought back a rush of memories. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about?!

Yes, my family has always loved Lesley Anne Ivory's cats. I still have a small book and a diary from my teen years. My mother used to buy me the Calendar and we had cards, coasters and placemats. We also had a couple of the cards hanging on the wall in frames. I still find her work pleasing.

I've got the plates "Meet my Kittens" 🙈

Plates were big in the 80's.

I have a book like you describe - Lesley Anne Ivory’s Cats Birthday Book. The pictures are gorgeous.

I’ve just found it and am going to add some new family members to the book.

Hooray! Glad I'm not the only one who remembers this!

I need to check the bookcases but I may still have a copy

TotalEclipseOfMyFart · 28/10/2024 17:50

I seem to recall this . Was it called Meet My Cats? I loved my copy and wish I still had it.

My mum had this address book and my dad still uses it.
