Is anyone reading or has read this?

I love the idea of it and have flicked through it but don't know if I can justify the cost

(It's due to me via Borrowbox in June 2026)

I've read the reviews (lots of negativity about the historical aspect and the disrespect to Shakespeare) but still feel I might enjoy it.

Would love to hear opinions

I’ve not long finished it. I’m not a fan of historical period of that period so I expected to struggle with it and I did feel it was overly long. I also felt that the characters were very one dimensional.
However the idea was interesting.
I guess the paperback will come out before you are due to have the book so that might speed things up?

I actually got it just after posting (as BorrowBox sometimes does
I enjoyed it mostly but also felt it could have ended a couple of chapters earlier.
