I’m about a fifth of the way through and really not feeling it.
Usially a fan of domestic thriller type books… Sophie Hannah, Lisa Jewell, Lucy Foley, BP Walter etc etc.
I picked this up as it looked and sounded like my kind of thing, and Lisa Jewell was quoted on the cover saying it’s a brilliant thriller.
But I’m just struggling to enjoy it. And I wondered… has anyone read it? Did you like it? Does it get better? Should I stick with it? Are there some good twists and turns?
And if you didn’t rate it that much and think I should give up, can you tell me the ending? As I am curious to know what happens, just not sure if I can be bothered sticking with it. I don’t feel the urge to pick it up so I just feel it will take me ages to finish and if that’s the case, am I better off abandoning it and staying a new one?
