Her family history? Yes. It strongly resembles my own family history, and we’re not geographically too far away. I found it all very recognisable, and liked the way she brought an intelligent historian sensibility to bear on gaps and the unspoken.

She was living in as a servant.

I'm sure some if not many of those babies in the Mother and Baby Homes were the result of rape and / or incest, tragically.

Was her grandfather the father of Jackie, the son who walked away ?
