Just wondering what books you’ve all read that are your favourites and will never forget . Ive read so many books but I really loved The Crimson Petal and the White , The Thirteenth Tale , Child 44 are just some examples . I have others but my brain fog has me forgetting the titles lol ( funny considering what my title is lol )

David Copperfield. Saw it recommended on one of those tv shows between Christmas and New Year where they recommend books you must read. Decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did. Such an amazing book.

The Heart’s Invisible Furies
Hamnet
Jane Eyre
All of Jane Austen

David Copperfield. Dickens poured his heart and soul into that novel. The range of characters is dazzling, and it covers the whole range of human experience. For me, it is the novel.

Wodehouse’ Right Ho Jeeves mesmerised me with its use of language. Wodehouse and Kipling taught me that language itself could be beautiful.

Other books that left a huge impression:

Robert Graves: Goodbye to all That
George Orwell: Down and Out in Paris and London
Jane Austen: Pride and Prejudice
Patrick Leigh Fermor: A Time of Gifts
