Ending of Andrea Mara’s All Her Fault ( spoilers)

Just finished this and would like to discuss the ending with anyone who’s read it.

I listened to the audiobook recently! What specifically about the ending did you want to discuss?

The bit where Esther says she'll be Jacob's new nanny. Is that supposed to be sinister? And was Marina planning to kill Peter in Spain and that's why she left their son with the nanny at home?

I don't think Esther being Jacob's nanny was meant to be sinister, no. What made you think that?

Yes, I definitely think we're meant to assume that Marina specifically didn't take their son on holiday with them so that she could kill Peter without him being there.
