I love the series and have only just started listening to this one on Audible. I’m only on chapter two but am finding myself laughing at the AIBU style parking conflict and detailed explanations. Also find myself wanting to ask for a diagram!

Ooh I hadn’t realised one was due, I binged read the series last year having only recently discovered them, when looking at Magpie Murders having watched the TV series (and drooled over Lesley Manville’s wardrobe). Thanks for the heads up.

I LOVE Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders- I really hope he does a third one.

I listened to this when it came out last week and finished it in a day. Love the Hawthorne books and would also love another one in the magpie/moonflower murders Ilk.

Re diagrams- there is one in the actual book as I picked it up when browsing in a bookshop the other day!

And a nice meta fictional joke about how he wanted one in the book but the publisher would think it was too expensive!

Same, discovered through the TV series, which I really liked - love LM!

Just finished this the other day, there is a map at the beginning of the book.
Not as strong as the other Hawthornes, but still enjoyable.
