Romance with dogs as part of the setting

Can anyone suggest some romance books where dogs are part of the storyline. I’ve read a couple of Lucy Dillon’s involving dog walkers etc and just wondered if anyone could suggest any others.

Whyyyyyy would you want to read a book like this?! I can't imagine dogs add much to the story, no dialogue for a start.

Have just thought of the Corduroy Mansions series by Alexander McCall Smith.

They do contain a dog and are entertaining but I don't think they'd fit your Romance criteria?

Oh the Scotland Street ones by AMS also have an occasional dog protagonist as well. Set in Edinburgh and he’s a pretty no-nonsense sort of dog but there is some romance there

Lucky Dog by Mark Barrowcliffe.

On the contrary! Lucky Dog narrates much of the book. ☺️
