I picked up The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard at the library yesterday. Had to actually stop reading last night in bed as I was getting a bit scared. Its the story of a woman who survived the murder of her family and has written a book about the crime in an attempt to uncover the murderer who has never been caught.
It is well written and genuinely unsettling. I will definitely look for more books by her.
