Looking for recommendations please…. I am working my way through the back catalogue of some of my favourite authors but would like to find some new ones as well. If I like Anne Tyler, Ann Patchett, Maggie O’Farrell, John Boyne and Marian Keyes, who else am I going to like?! Thanks in advance.

@DutchHouse I recommend Bel Canto. It's my favourite Ann Patchett novel. It was the first one of hers I read after listening to her talk at Hay-on-Wye. She's a really interesting and engaging speaker.

@highlandcoo that website it really useful. We have definitely ticked off a lot of the names when you type in Anne Tyler or Ann Patchett on this thread. A few others to look at for the others.

@DutchHouse Pachinko looks really interesting, thank you. I have only read Dutch House for Ann Patchett but loved it, will perhaps try Bel Canto next.
