What's next for me after the Virgin River series

I am fortunate that I do a job that enables me to listen to audio books for up to 6 hours a day. As such I can get through a book easily every two days.

This means I enjoy series so I feel engaged for more than a couple of days.

On the whole I like easy to listen to stories, reasonably light hearted and more often than not romance. It doesn't require to much attention and doesn't take away from the concentration my job needs

I'm just about to finish the 22nd Virgin River book (listened to them all since October so feel really at home with them) and know I'm going to miss them if I don't find a good substitute.

Can anyone recommend anything that is going to help me forgot that little town and suck me straight into some new lives?

I've already listened to Julie Caplin which is a reasonable length at 11 books and Harry Potter last year too. I do listen to lots of individual books as all my listens are on my library app so sometimes have to wait and need fillers too.

Thanks in advance

Thunder bay series by the same author?

I think Chesapeake Shores is another American small town romance series - may be worth a punt? I've only watched the TV series.

@MadeForThis unfortunately that isn't available in the library's audio book selection, I should have said I'm limited to what I can access as I can't afford to buy audio books as fast as I read them

Depending on the regulations, you may be able to join neighbouring county libraries as well. I am certainly allowed to in my county.

The next door counties have different selections of books available so may be worth a punt.

@Papillon23 thanks I'll look into this and see if I can join any online as I'm not near any other county borders to go in person
