Anyone reading the Fourth Wing (empyrean series)

I've just finished the Fourth Wing and have started Iron Flame. It's very trashy fantasty romance stuff full of tropes but I'm addicted! Anyone else?

Have it on my list! After devouring Sarah Maas over the last year I think it will be right up my street.

It definitely will be! Despite all the eye rolling that I've done it's insanely enjoyable and very readable.

Currently listening to Iron Flame on Audible. Work is horribly stressful so it is a good distraction. All a bit bonkers but I like it!

I'm listening to fourth wing on audible, about 75% through.
I did not think it would be my sort of thing at all but I'm totally addicted!

Due to pick up Iron Flame tomorrow. Can’t wait!

I just read them both. The most unputdownable books I've read in years! I'm a big fantasy fan, but usually a bit more high fantasy / highbrow. I can't believe how hooked I was on these. I also NEVER fancy book characters, but ermmm....

Also a Sarah j mass mega fan! I’ve just ordered the fourth wing and I picked up iron flame in Tesco earlier - excited

Which would you recommend to start first
Sarah Maas or Rebecca Yarrow and which book to start with please

@AllProperTeaIsTheft tell me about it! I have such a mega crush on a character from a book!
@jollyhollyday I found Rebecca Yarrow easier to read than Sarah J Maas as I found her stuff a bit too YA, whereas fourth wing is slightly more ‘adult’ in tone

I really enjoyed FW & IW too, very entertaining

I'd recommend A Court of Thornes & Roses as a good starting point for Sarah J Maas. My personal favourite followed by Crescent City but Throne of Glass is probably an easier read. All really good though !
