I'm reading Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton. Surprised by how much I'm enjoying it. I wish Mattie and Ethan were more articulate and better fibbers!

I'm reading The Labyrinth of the Spirits by Carlos Ruiz Zafron and am absolutely loving it. Can't remember the last time I was this absorbed in a book - not even the three previous CRZs!

Im about half way through The Women by Kristin Hannah. I'm absolutely loving it.
Its about the women who served as combat nurses in the vietnam war.
Its fascinating and horrifying at the same time.
Ive not read any of KH's books before. I will definitely try some others.

Just finished The Poppy War trilogy. Was a slog but worth it.

Ordered The Rape of Nanking which the Poppy War was based on, to read about the history.

Now reading The Phantom of the Opera, before moving onto The Shinning.

I am about one third of the way through Remarkably bright creatures. Hmmmm it's OK. I am waiting for it to grab me but it's really not. Apart from Marcellus I don't really like any of the characters so far.

I’ve read two books by Kristin Hannah and thoroughly enjoyed them both. I’m waiting for The Women to be in a kindle deal!
