Series similar to The Seven Sisters

I'm an avid reader, to the point that I often forget what I've read. I really enjoyed the Seven Sisters, partly because I was reading a series that took me a few weeks to read so I felt I really got into the storyline, if that makes sense. Has any one any recomendations, preferably in Prime Reading.

Just bumping this as I was about to start a thread asking the same question. Smile I really enjoyed this series too as it was so easy to read and a bit of escapism. Also lent the books to various friends/relatives who got hooked on them too. Would love to know if there are any other series out there that people recommend.

Great me too, I've also remembered an old one but the earth children's series is a good one.

Thank you - I just looked up the Earth Children series and realised I already read them as a teen. I don't think I ever read the last book though so I might have to see if I can get hold of it.

I love this series too and would like to read something similar.

The other books by Lucinda Reilly are good. Whilst not a series they have the same feel as seven sisters with stories different generations/ancestors/history of main characters. Such as hothouse flowers, the olive tree, the Angel tree

Honestly I wouldn't bother with the last book it's just a recap of the others. But would recomend re-reading the series as it has a different perspective when your older.

I've not read any of her other books. Will check them out - thank you!

@Imtoooldforallthis I think I was put off reading the last book as the reviews weren't that great. Good idea to reread the series again now.

I really enjoyed the last book in the series. I sent a ‘thank you’ message to Lucinda Riley’s son for the series and condolences for their loss and got a lovely reply.

I agree that Lucinda Riley’s other books are worth reading. Also, the books by Rhys Bowen are fairly similar in style, so you may enjoy these as well.
