Tawny Man or Fitz and the Fool trilogy

Which trilogy do you prefer? Although I enjoyed it , I found the Tawny Man trilogy hard going at times. I've just started Fool's Assassin and hoping to feel differently.

I've read all 5 series and find them all, at times, a little overwhelming, but my favourite is actually The Rain Wild Chronicles. However, I've loved them all. I'm hoping there might be a 6th series, focusing on a character who builds throughout the Fitz and the Fool trilogy into a very interesting person.

I really liked the Fitz and the Fool trilogy, and would rank Tawny Man as my second least favourite of the 5 sets (the dragon keepers ones being my least favourite). I’m not sure if fitz and the fool or the original trilogy is my favourite though - too hard to choose.

having said that, my DH is also a fan, but he much prefers Tawny Man, didn’t much like the live ship series and never even read the last fitz and the fool book… so clearly depends on your personal taste!

I'm on chapter 3 of FA now, I'm feeling much more into it. First couple of chapters were a bit boring but Robin does like a slow burn.

I find I can barely remember the Tawny man trilogy despite mostly enjoying it!
