Goodreads challenge not updating?

As above can anyone advise?

I have the Goodreads app, when I added things from my "currently reading" to "read" it would update it but it seems to have stopped doing it?

I can see all my read books in my "read" list and they are updating fine, it's just the challenge bar across the top that won't update so it's stuck on 7 books but I've actually read 9

Make sure there's a date finished on the dates read as well as just adding it to read or it won't work

I have issues when i do it on the app where it doesn't automatically add the date when i click read sometimes if it's the same for you maybe?

You have to log books as 'currently reading' before you can put them as 'read'. I never add dates to mine and never had a problem

Thanks @hookiewookie29 I think maybe that's what's I've done in the past I'll try to do that going forward thanks!
