Help! Pre-schooler books with songs in?

Help me oh wise mumsnetters!

for work i need to find some books to read aloud which have songs every so often to allow toddlers to bang their drums/ triangles/ tambourines /xylophones etc all together.

they can be any songs, but obviously well known nursery rhymes or at least obvious tunes would be favourite.

despite having small children quite recently, i don’t have any books like this and i’m drawing a blank on googling. Do any of you have books that would suit this? The only one i thought of was “We’re going on a bear hunt” but that’s actions rather than songs.

There's a list here www.lineupthebooks.com/40-singalong-books/ it's American but certainly some are available in the U.K.

Also www.penguinrandomhouse.com/series/SA4/sing-along-with-me

Thank you - i think most of those are a single song retold as a book.

i’m looking for a book that has a few songs interspersed in it, so “bit of story - song - bit of story - song” etc, to allow the children to follow the storyline and then sing/bash their instruments together.

A gap in the market - write your own?

There's one I liked as a child that would fit the bill perfectly, but I've been trying to track it down for years to no avail. It's a story about a train interspersed with carols. No help to you whatsoever, but on the off-chance you come across it please let me know!
