Good well-written books for dd, 15

Hi all, my dd has been in a rut for some good books lately. She likes well-written fiction but not ya as she thinks its samey.
Could you please recommend some books for her?
She had read and loved Of Mice and Men, Claire Keegan, Donal Ryan is currently reading Jeffrey Archer and Kazuo Ishiguro.

How mature and sensitive is she? The Bunker Diary won the Carneigie Medal a few years ago. It's not a nice book, its main theme is kidnapping and imprisonment, and it contains rape and murder. But it is very well written. I've lent it to a a number of people, some of whom are incredibly critical about books, and they've all said it was a good book. Not nice, but worth reading. But it depends on your daughter as to whether or not it would be suitable.

How about The Book Thief? Although like OneLittle says, it depends on how sensitive she is.
