15 year old was an avid reader but currently between two schools of teen and adult.

What are your kids reading? I want to reinspire her.

Ds or DD?
my 16 year old DD has recently returned to reading for pleasure after almost not picking up a book for a couple of years. She enjoyed Taylor Jenkins Reid

Thanks for these recommendations.
her favourites seems to have been; Matt Haig, Madeline Miller, Angie Thomas. There’s also Dune, The book thief.

i’ll show her this list. I think she is a bit stuck and it’s an exam year so she’s busy. But you can’t beat a good book to switch off in the evening.

The Kiterunner and Motnings on Jenin are excellent. She might like those too.

My DD also likes Matt Haig. She's moved onto adult books and bypassed YA as they're all a bit samey.
She's enjoyed Donna Tartt, Wuthering Heights, and is looking at other classics. Liked some but not all Alice Oseman.

My friend's booky DD is working her way through the Jack Reacher books. She likes the economy of language, apparently. She's 16.

She also recently enjoyed the Red Rising trilogy* by Pierce Brown and the Liveship Traders series by Robin Hobb.

*Was originally a trilogy, is now five or six books long I think.

How about a Kate Atkinson?
