Do you ever get the urge to read a very specific type of book?

For some reason I'm currently craving a book on the dark side of Japan. I've no idea why I have such a specific topic in mind.

Absolutely, but more usually in my case, it will be a book I already own, and I will suddenly be consumed with the urge to read The Nun’s Story or Hermione Lee’s biography of Edith Wharton.

No, just the occasional childing of myself when I feel I've been read junk and should turn to something better-quality.
